SWOT Analysis; Electronic Media

Strength – E media can disseminate information rapidly throughout the world because it uses electricity for a digital encoding of information. Television, internet and radio is leading channel of communication, and it is a form of e-media. It help us to discuss situations where the media fails to inform citizens about what happening in any country or state.

Weaknesses – electronic media invades our privacy without knowing about it. Sometimes, some information you gain is not a fact, merely bias to a one situation. It can destroy one people reputation (through netizens) esp. on cyberbullying. Can change one child’s characteristics on what he/she watched or heard from, radio or television .

Opportunity – Jobs are waiting, like media practitioner, writer, broadcaster, Celebrity, news anchor, and more. You can gain money for writing any blogs and make a reputation by doing a documentary about yourself, helping or doing good to other.

Treat – People will become more and more lazy as they depend on e – media on situation like making a project, thesis, research, and information. People can copy text on internet and information on television or radio. Through social media it can easily hack your information because of our less privacy. Our next generation will become arrogant and less respectful on dealing one’s face because of abusing e – media’s role on the society .
