Hymn of Saintly Sunday (Good Friday Special Feature)

Thousand of years ago, the destiny of our world had been revamp. A significant undo was proclaimed as sins vanished through the reign of our faith, centuries had been separated, education, humility, compassion and forgiveness was unfold. His love and sacrifice was observed around the world. Yes! All of us know him. He is Jesus Christ.
Christianity derived Jesus Christ as their only way for salvation. They believe that being away from him, is a constant hell here on Earth. He is an orthodox of God, Father, King, King of Kings, Life, Love, and more. Every words that can describe goodness is running on him and through him.
Every year, we mourn on the day of Jesus Christ's crucifixion and death at Calvary. It is called Good Friday. The holiday is observed during Holy Week as part of the Paschal Triduum  or The Three Days on the Friday preceding Easter Sunday, and may coincide with the Jewish observance of Passover. It is also known as Holy Friday, Great Friday, Black Friday or Easter Friday, though the last term properly refers to the Friday in Easter week.
In the Philippines, The annual lenten season is on the last week of March, or the 1st week of April. In overwhelmingly Roman Catholic Philippines, the day is recognized with road parades, the Way of the Cross, the droning of the Pasyón, and exhibitions of the Senákulo or Passion play. A few fans take part in self-whipping and even have themselves crucified as articulations of atonement in spite of wellbeing issues and solid objection from the Church because they believe that when doing things like that, their sins will be vanish.
Church chimes are not rung and Masses are not commended, while TV and radio have shorter hours of  broadcast. After three o'clock toward the evening (the time at which Jesus is generally accepted to have passed on), the dependable revere the cross in the neighborhood church and take after the parade of the Burial of Jesus. The picture of the dead Christ is then laid in state to be adored, and infrequently treated as per nearby internment traditions. In Cebu and numerous parts of the Visayan Islands, individuals more often than not eat binignit and biko as a type of fasting.
Old beliefs is still penetrating others mind, specially conservative Filipinos. My grandmother always told me that after three o’ clock towards the evening, I shall not take a shower, for the spirit of water is dead, because  it was created by God. I shall not go outside because demons are everywhere, for Jesus is dead. I shall not let myself hurt, because it will not heal, for my skin is dead. But the most unforgettable is “Wag’ ka munang kumain sa mga kakanin na niluto ko’ kasi kung wala ka pang halad sa mga santo, mahihiwid ang iyong pagmumukha” When I heard her saying that, I dropped the plate on table. It was creepy though. I don’t want to have a dostorted face.
Good Friday must be a happy holiday, and we must say Thank you, for Jesus Christ sacrificed his own life for us to be saved from the misery of hell and to get an everlastiong life from heaven, with our God Almighty and his lamb. We must not locked ourselves from wrong beliefs that every year Jesus Christ will die and rise again. He died and rose two-thousand years ago and now He is alive, preparing for his comeback as he stated on The Book of Revelation.

Secluded Eyes

Pain. Destruction. Immorality. Death. Virtue
I'd free my sight from this occurrence that killed my soul inside. Every minute of this life is a Holocaust. I run away and hide from everything painful. Then I closed my eyes for something magical to happen.

Slowly, I have felt the sorrow and weaknesses of my surroundings. Let my eyelid remain calm on the misery of our very action. Let my imagination dictate what our society should be.
Boom! I heard a disturbing sound that crashed my deep focus. As I looked up on the sky, I saw a wondrous art like a firework and raining colorful glitters all around the surrounding.
I felt anxious when I found myself on the middle of the street. I found no cars, people and animals. Only buildings and plants. The place was so clean and peaceful. I roamed around the metropolis and searched for any living proof. I was amazed by what I saw. Everything was perfectly new. The road, the paint on every corner and even the least detail. I run towards the street and shouted that this was the life I've always wanted. A life that is free from what a life should be.
On this place, everything was ready. When I'm hungry, a food will suddenly fall from heaven. There was no time. There was no night. I never felt drowsiness and pain.
Suddenly, all of my desires to make myself a portion of this place forever revamped to be sour. From better to worst. I felt lonesome. I sensed that this place was dearth from human that can make me feel welcome. The reality where I've been day dreaming for this place, was where I want to have a comeback. How ironic it is.
I've searched for human. I've searched on every street and structure. I've shouted for help. My tears were busted on every words I've released. The reality that I have secluded my sight on every ugly vision that I saw was a proof that I'm not brave but coward. Maybe, for I have no God. I have no trust on him. My weaknesses have eaten my faith and I don't want to see anything that he has created. I believe only in virtue.
The time has come. I can't handle it anymore. The feeling of being isolated is the same feeling of being dead. I'm full. Maybe I will just close my eyes. I will secluded my self forever.
After that, I've noticed that It was just a dream. But my body was dead. Forever.. I will suffer the misery and darkness of Hell!

Beautiful Zamboanga, Precious as Pearl

(c)itsmorefuninthephilippines
"Zamboanga Hermosa, preciosa perlita Orgullo de Mindanao"
Century Old Anthem means Beautiful Zamboanga, Precious as Pearl and pride of Mindanao. from the Asia's Latin City, City of Flowers and The Sardine Capital, Zamboanga.
Zamboanga is a city that has been locked by culture and known for its discernable history. It is home of different ethnic groups, like Subanen and Tausug. A prof of historically diverse city was the existence of creole language-Chavacano that has been developed from Spanish and Filipino, 400 years ago.
The city lies on the tip of Zamboanga Peninsula or Region 9 and the sixth largest city in The Philippines. The city was surrounded by bodies of water and generally rocky terrain.
Searching for a place where history and modernity mixed together is quite hard, for not fully old cities in the Philippines were preserved.
Zamboanga City is not outlying from the Capital of the Philippines,  for It takes only 1 and a half hour from Ninoy Aquino International Airport to Zamboanga City International Airport. The spirit of a Latin City will embrace, as you read the "Bienvenido Zamboanga" from the roof panel of the airport.
Having a city tour is flawless. You shall not forget "Pueblo de Zamboanga" or downtownthat served as a result of Reduccion of Spanish Colonial Government. From the airport, ride a jeepney or tricycle and cite "Pueblo" that has a fair of 8.50. Pueblo de Zamboanga is the central shopping and business districtwhere you can see shopping Malls, Universities, City hallThe Plaza - Pershing, Rizal Park and the Cathedral.
2 kilometers away from the City Proper, is "Real Fuerza de Nuestra Señora del Pilar de Zaragoza" or The Royal Courtyard of Pilar. It was a 17th century military defense fortress built by the Spanish Colonial Government. Today it is called as Fort Pilar and served as a Regional Museum and Marian shrine dedicated to Our Lady of The Pillar, the patron of the city.
Near the Fort is "Paseo Del Mar" or Park by the Sea, where you can relax and feel the breeze of the brine, While illuminated by pigmental seaside light during nights. Zamboanga City Boulevard, has the same ambiance as Paseo Del Mar. The baywalk is 1-kilometre where you can sight some colorful vintas and enigmatic sunset.
The City is not least in terms of Food. Delicious Curacha or spanner crab is the main course of the City. It is well served in great restaurant named Alavar. It is expensive compared to other delicacies in the City, but Curacha meat is the best of all. The crab is usually steamed or boiled so its flavor is preserved. Majority of its meat is found in its body.
Food is everyone's favorite when you go out of town or a vacation. But Zamboanga's festival is becoming more favorite of the tourists. Every year the Hermosa Festival or Fiesta Pilar a month long festival on October, is held in honor of Our Lady of Pillar. It is one of the oldest Festival in the country. The festival features numerous activities like the famous Regatta De Zamboanga, the Vintas racing to win the title.
The city's resting reputation had been destroyed by the siege of Zamboanga last 2013. Many had been scared to visit the beautiful city. Then the fast sprawling urbanization, preserved culture and strong faith by Zamboanga's citizen, is a key to forget what had been marked on everyone's mind. The beauty of Zamboanga came from different people, culture and norms. They've broke the bridges and wall that had served as a gap between each other, long time ago. Then selfishness, immorality and beliefs had been constructing this bridges again. We should stop this, and focus on City's beauty that was created for all of us
