Filipinos have special propensities, some of it are entirely entertaining – even to us, Pinoys. When we take a glance at them, everything is considered; except let it be known, we have a great deal of irritating propensities, as well.
Now and again, these propensities acquire us the wrath of foreigners and individual Filipinos, yet we have ended up on this way that have instilled in us since we were children – basically difficult to break.
1. Filipino time
Irritating as it might be, dominant part of Filipinos are liable of this. We can't land on schedule for an occasion, frequently arriving somewhere in the range of 30 minutes after the planned begin – particularly in gatherings and social affairs. There could be a great deal of reasons why you frequently arrive late to an occasion, yet there are the individuals who intentionally arrive late in light of the fact that they would prefer not to arrive before the actual arranged time just in the event that others would say they were "Filipino Time".
2. Wrapping everything in plastic
As indicated by Vince Golangco in an article on When in Manila, one of the approaches to know you're a Filipino from the Philippines is that you wrap everything in plastic: mobile phones, couches, sleeping pads, books, furniture, the auto, and so on. Some Pinoys intentionally wrap furniture in plastic or don't expel them from their unique plastic bundling.
3. Reusing for all intents and purposes everything that resembles a compartment.
Purchasing sustenance sold in glass or plastic jugs so we could reuse these compartments later. In this way, a normal Pinoy ice chest would have a mishmash of reused holders in all shapes and sizes, containing nourishment and beverages.
4. Sustenance accumulating or "bring-house" in gatherings
This is particularly valid for those going to occasions facilitated by relatives or companions, with numerous hosts notwithstanding permitting to take a "bring-house". In the host's part, it demonstrates his/her bigheartedness.
5. You point with your lips
Base on my research, some says numerous Filipinos use their lips in guiding something.
G: Nakita mo yung cellphone ko?
B: Ayun oh! (lips pointing)
6. Making discussions utilizing unclear words
A ton of us loved to utilize obscure words as a part of discussions. Like this case:
A: "Si ano, nagpa-ano na!"
B: "Sino?"
A: "Si ano. Yung kwan…Yung ano."
Also, guess what? You can really fill in the spaces in the discussion and comprehend what the other individual is discussing.
7. Simple adaption of new language
You presumably heard some of your companions utilization words like "jowa", "churva", "keri", "keribels" and "push mo yan 'te".
8. The jumble celebration supper
We're attached to having a go at everything on the smorgasbord or a meal with many different food, bringing about a jumble party dinner. For example, you can see individuals' plates with everything believable from the smorgasbord – regardless of the fact that these things weren't generally intended to be combined.
9. Utilizing amusing names and monikers
Numerous outsiders comment how "odd" Filipinos' names or handles are – however we truly like utilizing syllabic repeat like "JunJun", "JoyJoy", "VanVan", "TonTon", "BongBong", "TinTin", and so forth or including "h" to names, including "Jhun", "Jhay", "Khris", "Jhoy", and so on. likewise, brought up that you presumably have an "Uncle Boy", "Close relative Girly" or "Aunt Baby", right?
10. You cherish video karaoke (videoke)
What's a gathering without a videoke? Gracious better believe it! Indeed, even individuals like Manny Pacquiao appreciate singing karaoke in spite of getting to be popular and rich as of now,
Things being what they are, would you say you are blameworthy of these Filipino habits? Or would you be able to propose more propensities to add to the list.

Eternal Memories
She open the old photo album and told me that she was beautiful back on the days. She smile at me. But her smile faded like a dead rose on a good day. "Tungkol ba sa panahon ng hapon ang gusto mong marinig sa akin? She said.
She is Genoveva Gabriel Gonzales, my grandmother. Born in Camiling, Tarlac on January 3, 1922. Snow hair had been dominating her physical appearance as a cometh wisdom in her 93 years of existence.
Since I was a child, she always told us about her experience on the World War 2. I am not interested on that days. But as I became apprehensive about everything, I want to hark on her story.
74 years ago, Genoveva was 19 years old. She was the oldest among 3. She was aiming for ETC or Elementary Teacher Certificate at National Teachers College. There was no Bachelor's Degree on the early days.
On December 8, 1941, ten hours after the attack on Pearl Harbor, the empire of Japan had started the invasion of the Philippines. Genoveva was forced to stop her studies and she went back to Camiling, Tarlac. She turned up alarmed when she arrived on Camiling.
"Lumikas kami sa bundok habang bitbit ko ang mga pingan. Hindi pa ako nakapagpahinga galing sa Maynila ay nag alsabalutan na kami" She said. They last for about 5 months on the mountains. They went down when the tension had lessen. She said that when they went to the Town, she could not carry anymore the things that she brought on the mountain. "Dahil sa sobrang kaba ko, kaya siguro kinaya kong' dalhin yung mga gamit papunta sa bundok"
Because she was the eldest, she had a responsibility to took care of her younger brother which is 10 years old, and 7 years old sister. Their piggery and farm business was destroyed and snatched by Japanese enlisted men, so Genoveva worked by selling different viand like Dinuguan, Paksiw and Igado, for they need money to eat three times a day, since the Philippines was facing a deep crisis because of war. "Swerte pa nga kami kasi nakakain pa kami ng tatlong beses sa isang araw. Yung iba wala nang makain." She said.
"Bumalik yung mga Amerikano, mas magulo at mas nakakatakot. " She looked at the window. Then she added "Akala ko mamamatay na ako sa mga pangyayari, pati langit sobrang gulo. It was happened on 1944 when the Americans or the return of MacArthur took place. The Japanese enlisted men suddenly came on their home, and snatched it, for there was a deep well for their water supply. Genoveva's Mom, her Brother and Sister hid on the dugout on their home, where Japanese enlisted men stayed.
"Nasa dugout kami ng tatlong araw, walang makain. Hindi rin kasi kami makaakyat sa taas ng bahay baka andun pa yung mga Hapon. Pero si Inang umakyat para tingnan kung nasa bahay pa sila, at para makakuha rin ng makakain" She mentioned. Then she became downcast while saying this words. "Ngunit di na sya bumalik."
Even though I always hear her tell that story, it is still painful to imagine the darkness of situation is.
Genoveva, her brother and sister stayed on the dugout for five days, without food and water. She can't cry because her body dried up. Her brother and sister was very hungry and thirsty. "Gustong gusto ko nang umakyat sa taas. Para sa mga kapatid ko. Pero iniisip ko, kung aakyat at lalabas ako, dinakip at pinatay. Mamatay rin mga kapatid ko. Mas mabuti pang mamatay kaming sabay." He said.
But she considered to faced the reality that all of them will die. If she will die without doing anything, then its blank slate. So she went upstairs, "Huminga ako ng malalim at nagdasal habang paakyat." When Genoveva when to the Kitchen she was confronted by a Japanese official. Saying "Baru buru, Baru buru" Genoveva Deemed end of his life. The official repeat what he had say. "Baru buru, Baru buru and give me sart" pointing at the Papaya. "Ang gusto nya palang sabihin ay Borrow bolo and give me salt para sa papaya."
The Japanese official gave us some food. Genoveva said that the Japanese officials were the kind one and the enlisted men were barbaric.
Genoveva and his sibling were safe. They stayed on their Grandfather's House, after they went out on the dugout. Genoveva studied Japanese language, and after the war, on 1946 he continued her studies while supporting her siblings.
"Kahit wala kaming balita kay Inang o anong nangyari sa kanya, masaya parin ako dahil naging malakas ako sa bawat problemang nakaharap sa buhay ko. She said

Filipino Media Criticized by Philippine Journalism Review for Coverage of Tropical Storm
This is my first time seeing Philippine Journalism Review. I thought audits were just pertinent on contraptions or things, not in Journalism Practice. It is a wondrous situation that they develop a Journalism Review here in the Philippines in light of the fact that truth is we have a place in "Underdeveloped nation" as well as in "Third World Journalism".
As I would like to think Philippine Journalism needs a legitimate preparing, whether it is moral or by activity. Philippine Journalism concentrates on "Cash Making" than Public Service.
Doing a reversal to the survey, The PJR contemplated distinctive news outlet. like "BusinessMirror, BusinessWorld, Malaya, Manila Bulletin, Manila Standard Today, the Philippine Daily Inquirer, The Daily Tribune, The Manila Times, The Philippine Star, 24 Oras, Aksyon, and TV Patrol"
They uses GMA's 24 oras as obtuse news scope, on the grounds that he/she inquired as to whether how they will commend the Christmas Season. In the 1990's Guidelines in Covering Catastrophe, Broadcast Journalist must tone down their conveyance, so as not to add to open insanity"
"Madness a mental issue (not currently viewed as a solitary positive condition) whose indications incorporate change of mental anxiety into physical manifestations (somatization), particular amnesia, shallow unpredictable feelings, and overdramatic or consideration looking for conduct. - Wikipedia"
On Broadcast Code of the Philippines(2007) Article 6. Wrongdoing and Crisis Situations Section 2, it is expressed that A scope ought to abstain from causing undue stun and torment to families and friends and family of casualties of law violations, emergency circumstances, catastrophes, mischances, and different tragedies.
1990's Guidelines in Covering Catastrophe and Broadcast Code in the Philippines were the same connection or thought.
The Broadcast Journalist must change the inquiry that are not associated in his/her dull emergency circumstance including his/her feelings.
In Article 7 - Section 1 , Individual Rights, it is expressed that the privilege to protection of people might be regarded. Interruption into simply private or individual matters which have no bearing on the general population hobby is denied.
Telecast Journalist is slighting the interviewee's security. The circumstance must bolted on the interviewee's own self, family and group. Not inside of the entire world.
The inquirer or Philippine Daily Inquirer likewise condemned by PJR, for the said production is excessively fixated on Survivors Horrific Stories on the disaster. PDI composed an element article about and as proof connected to six "ghastliness stories from the survivors."
In the event that you read the article, it open the nostalgic entryway of bad dream inside of the survivor who lost their adoration one.
In Article 7 – Section 2, Individual Rights, it is expressed that persons influenced by catastrophe or sadness might be treated with affectability, admiration and circumspection; they ought to be permitted to endure their sorrow in private.
In the event that you encountered something most exceedingly terrible and they reviewed about that with no consent, they are dispensing your protection. They ought to be rebuff. All Journalist in the Philippines, as well as the entire world, must be aware and delicate on each circumstance. On the off chance that you are a Journalist it is not to say that you are required to get the greater part of the story you have
